GBC recently participated in the Medlab Middle East, an exhibition for laboratory equipment and devices held in Dubai, showcasing its expertise and technology in the field of precision medicine. Additionally, we unveiled the latest range of chemiluminescence products, as well as the CellBio™ Circulating Tumor Cell (CTC) detection system and the AIO fully automated nucleic acid detection device.

Medlab Middle East, formerly part of the Arab Health exhibition, has operated independently since 2017 and has gradually become the world’s largest exhibition for laboratory equipment and devices.

At the exhibition, the GBC CL i120 fully automated chemiluminescence immunoassay system was showcased. This solution boasts features such as high efficiency, intelligence, convenience, flexibility, and reliability. With a maximum testing capacity of 120 tests per hour and the ability to accommodate 30 samples and testing items simultaneously, it provides clinical laboratories with high-throughput testing capabilities, thereby enhancing patient testing speed and efficiency.

Another highlight for GBC was the development of the next generation GBC CellBio™ Circulating Tumor Cell (CTC) detection system. This system utilizes exclusive patented technology called iFiltration™, which can extract circulating tumor cells from small blood samples with a capture rate of over 90%. This technology aids doctors in timely detection and tracking of cancer cells within patients through non-invasive sampling processes, thereby providing earlier and more accurate treatment options for cancer patients.

Furthermore, the AIO fully automated nucleic acid detection device was another focal point at the GBC booth. This device is capable of completing nucleic acid extraction to PCR analysis all on the same machine, with the ability to rapidly and accurately perform nucleic acid sequence detection analysis, which is significant for medical laboratories. Additionally, its enclosed design effectively mitigates the risk of cross-contamination, providing healthcare institutions with higher security assurance.
